Application for Voting Membership

Voting Members – Any firm, partnership or corporation actively engaged in the business of servicing, onsite and/or in the shop, commercial foodservice equipment (i.e., repairing, maintaining and providing replacement parts and accessories for foodservice and/or beverage equipment commonly found in Restaurants, Institutions, Health Care, Government and Corporate Food Service Operations) shall be eligible for membership as a Voting Member of this association, provided that: (i) the firm, partnership or corporation, has a minimum of three (3) years’ in business servicing commercial foodservice equipment verified with a valid business registration; (ii) the firm’s primary purpose of existence, where the majority of their revenue (51%), is derived from the distribution of quality parts and service in the commercial food industry; (iii) majority ownership of the firm is not held by any restauranteur, equipment dealer or other foodservice facility which could qualify for another membership category; (iv) the firm carries a commercial liability and workman’s comp policy which meets current industry standards; (v) the firm is recommended by a current Voting Member in good standing.

Level II - Installation of new equipment for entire kitchens during remodel or construction phase, to include receiving, warehousing, consolidation of equipment and delivery for each phase of installation, assembly, set in place, leveled, caulked and trimmed as needed, with final connections made, started up and tested. Level III - Includes all of Level II and may or may not include all or some other options (such has Hoods, HVAC, Fire Suppression, Complete Electrical or Plumbing Contracting, Carpentry, Communications, Computers, Flooring, Roofing, Stainless Steel Welding, or Complete General Contracting as well as pulling all necessary Permits) Companies that are listed as Level III should be contacted to find out what options they offer.

Dues and Fees: An application fee of $250.00 must be submitted to Lisa Walker (Accounting Administrator) at LWalker@CFESA.com. In addition, it is mandatory that all branch locations be listed in the service locator as Branch Members and paid for at $190.00 per location. Membership dues for Voting Members are pro-rated according to the date of membership approval. Applications submitted and approved January 1 through June 30 pay a full years dues. Applications submitted July 1 through December 31 pay a half years dues.
